Clearly and intuitively operated
The color display of the IS42 is designed for use under all circumstances and provided with an optically glued, protective glass layer, so that condensation or mist formation is prevented in the display. Transflective LCD technology uses reflected sunlight to make the displayed image lighter instead of darker and this results in superior visibility in daylight and lower energy consumption compared to traditional displays with background lighting. Thanks to a simple, waterproof control panel, the IS42 is easy to operate under bad weather conditions, even with wet hands or with gloves.
A truly multifunctional, digital instrument display
The IS42 InstrumententiSdisplay can be configured in such a way that multiple "pages" with information about wind conditions, speed of the vessel, depth, etc. are displayed. You can quickly switch between pages to immediately find the information you need at that time. On the motorcycle monitoring pages, important data such as TPM, engine temperature, trim tab status, fuel current and fuel consumption for a maximum of two motors connected to NMEA 2000®. If the IS42 is used in a network with a compatible AIS receiver, the IS42 also offers a clear graphic representation of vessels equipped with AIS in the area. Watch out for possible hazard with adjustable alarms, and receive safety -related AIS messages directly on the IS42 for the ultimate overview of the situation on the water.
Simple installation
The IS42 can easily be installed with the easy option for attachment via the front, so that no access to the back of the console or the panel is required, and thanks to NMEA 2000® connectivity via one cable for both food and data. The IS42 is compatible with all kinds of instruments, sensors, motorcycle monitoring interfaces, Simrad Star machines and other NMEA 2000® data sources. Thanks to plug-and-play connectivity you can use as much or so few IS42 displays if you need to put together your ideal digital instrument display. Data pages tailored to your boat and activities are easy to configure, so that you always have the most important data immediately at hand.
