Garmin makes an advanced nautical technology that used to be found on commercial ships, available for water sports enthusiasts as a complete package for motor boats and sailing boats. The Reactor 40 Steering machines are the most sensitive steering machine systems that we have ever released.
Reactor 40 Steering machines are very versatile. All corepacks offer both motorboat and sailing boat functions, such as a fixed current course, fixed wind control, tacking/jugs, price change steps and more. Simply choose the steering machine that is compatible with your existing steering system. If you do not find compatible reactor 40, you will see that the Reactor 40 Mechanical/Retrofit/Solenoid is compatible with a wide range of hydraulic, cable clerk, mechanical and solenoid steering systems. Just link an GRF ™ 10 with the drive system that you have on board.
The Reactor 40 Mechanical/Retrofit/Solenoid Steering machine Corepack is ideal for sailboats and motor boats with direct or cable -climbing steering systems. This reactor 40 steering machine offers you that often required "extra pair of hands", so that you can safely concentrate on your sails, lines, winches and radio connections. Thanks to the Solid-State Ahrs with 9 axes, the Reactor 40 can be attached everywhere and in any direction and requires minimal settings.
Solid-State Ahrs with 9 Assen
Thanks to the advanced Solid-State Ahrs with 9 axes you can attach the Reactor 40 almost anywhere and in any direction. Furthermore, this new system ensures minimum price errors, price abnormalities and stir -movements and a very low power consumption, which guarantees a comfortable boat trip for everyone on board.
Responds to sea circumstances
This remarkable automatic machine responds to the conditions at sea to keep you on course. Even when the boat rolls and stamps on the water, you can continue to trust that the Reactor 40 Star machine keeps you on your desired course.
Minimum settings and calibration
All steering machines require and calibration - without exception. We know that you want to go on the water immediately, so we have made this process as short and simple as possible. That is The Power of Simple, or pure ease of use.
Works together with Garmin Mapplotters
In combination with our compatible network card planter you can fully operate the Reactor 40 from any position on your boat. In addition to maintaining the price in almost all weather and wind conditions, the system can also perform a number of pre-programmed trolling and search procedures smoothly. In addition, in combination with a compatible Garmin network card plotter and Bluechart® G2 Vision® cards (separately for sale) you have optional functions such as Auto Guidance1 for automatic navigation of GPS routes.
Navigate with confidence thanks to the Shadow Drive technology
On hydraulic systems you can add to the 40 Mechanical/Retrofit/Solenoid steering machine corepack optional patented Shadow Drive technology. This offers you the certainty that you always keep control, even when the steering machine is switched on. The Shadow Drive System automatically switches the steering machine off when the rudder is turned, so that you have the freedom to maneuver the boat. The steering machine is automatically switched on if you hold a fixed course.
Choose from 3 classes drive systems
Reactor 40 is available as 3 linear drive systems (for sale separately) for a large number of different steering systems that are suitable for most medium -sized to large boats (depending on the relevant installation). All linear drive units of Garmin have a built -in stirring feedback sensor.
Drive unit of class A - for a maximum of 28,500 tons of displacement
Compact drive unit of class B - for a maximum of 48,400 tons of displacement
Drive unit of class B - for a maximum of 79,000 tons of displacement
Connect to network equipment
The Reactor 40 Steering machine can be operated with a maximum of 3 GHC ™ Roer control units. GHC communicates via your NMEA 2000® network with the autopilotry system, so that price information can easily be shared with other devices in the network. This makes Marpa and map overlays possible when connecting to a Garmin card plotter. An optional wireless remote control is available, but for the largest ease of use you can also operate the GHC with a compatible Quatix® or Quatix 5 Maritime Multisport Smartwatch
Give yourself even more peace of mind
If desired, add an optional GRF 10 stir feedback sensor to further improve the performance of your Reactor 40 Steering machine.
