Simple installation
Plug-and-Play connectors simplify the installation and minimize the wiring required to install your steering automatic system. Industrial standard NMEA 2000® networks offer simple connectivity with price sensors, stirring feedback units, steering machine controllers and multifunctional displays that are everywhere on board.
Standard output
The NAC-2 Steering machine computer is recommended for boats with a length of up to 10 meters (35 feet). It is designed to have drive pumps with low current work in a reliable way, including the Simrad RPU80, mechanical drives such as the Simrad SD10, hydraulic linear drives such as the HLD350 and magnetic valves.
Virtual stir feedback
Simrad Virtual Rudder Feedback (VRF) technology eliminates the need to install a separate Roer Feedback unit on board outboard and fence drive (inboard/outboard) boats with planning rodpen. This reduces the total costs and complexity of the steering automatic system and is ideal when a feedback unit is impractical due to mechanical limitations. The NAC-2 also supports SIMNET or NMEA 2000® connected Simrad RF25 Feedback units and resistive Roer Feedback sensors for vessels that do need a physical stirring feedback sensor.
